Review webshop Rosegal

In this post I will review and inform you about shopping at www.rosegal.com. I have been contacted to pick out some clothingpieces from this webshop. Above you can see my favorite items from Rosegal with the links.

About Rosegal

Rosegal is a China-based webshop selling clothing for women and men, jewelry, shoes, accessories, wigs and other hairrelated items and home decor pieces. I got to choose two clothingpieces. I really had a hard time choosing, because Rosegal has a lot of cute items. These I will show you later. Rosegal offers free shipping, which always is a big plus!

My shopping experience

I really liked shopping at the webshop of Rosegal. They got a lot to offer, so take your time to browse! Rosegal offers clothing for very good prices. The problem with China-based webshops is mostly the sizing. On Rosegal they show size charts with every product. I thought this was very handy.

Shipping time

I placed my order on the 7th of September. I received my order on the 20th of September. The order took 13 days to arrive, which is fine for me.

Review clothing Rosegal

Now I will review the clothingpieces I ordered on Rosegal. 

SHORTS

I thought it would be fun to wear the shorts with over the knee boots and a sweater as a transition summer to fall-outfit. 

Quality

The quality of the shorts is actually pretty good, which I didn't expect. The shorts are made of a thin fabric: polyester, but because the shorts have double lining they are not see through. I love that the shorts have two pockets on the side.

Sizing

I ordered the shorts in a size S. Normally I'm also wearing a size S/36 in pants. The shorts are a bit thight on the hips, but overall they fit.

  

Comparing

To order from a China-based webshop is always scary, because it's possible you get something that doesn't even look like the picture on the webshop. The colors of the shorts on the picture on the webshop is a bit different. In the pictures on the webshop the shorts are black, white, red and beige. In real life the shorts are black, white, dark red and tan-brown.

DRESS

Quality

I don't really like the fabric of the dress. It's very synthetic and it smells. When the dress came in the flower pattern sticked together. Luckily I was able to take it apart easily and it didn't ruin the dress. The dress is just like the shorts made of polyester. The fabric of the dress is thicker than the shorts though. I really like the pattern on the dress.

Sizing

I ordered the dress in a size M, because I was afraid the size S would be too small at the boob-area. Too bad the dress is too big for me. The waist area of the dress is way too loose. For a pregnant women the dress would be perfect, also because the dress is made of a very stretchy material. I think the size chart with this dress is not reliable. Luckily I can wear the dress as a top too or with a belt around the waist and that way it fits great.

Comparing

When comparing the pictures of the dress on the webshop with my own pictures I'm coming to the conclusion the dress is exactly the same as on the pictures on the webshop.

CHRISTMAS PRESENT TIP: #MEEKI NAILPOLISH BOX

I got to test a new service called Meeki. Too bad, Meeki is only available in the Netherlands. What is Meeki? Meeki is a service that you can subscribe to. You will get 2 nailpolishes in different colors every month on your doormat. Before Meeki will send the nailpolishes to you, they will show you a few outfits and you have to pick your favorite so they can see what styles you are into. When they know what styles you like they will pick 2 colors that fit your style the most. I got a burgundy color and a champagne color. I'm very glad with the colors I got! And I love the concept.

Hoi! Mij is gevraagd of ik het nieuwe concept van Meeki wilde uitproberen. Maar natuurlijk wil ik dat! Ik ben gek op nagellak, dus kom maar op!

Wat is Meeki?
Meeki is een service waar je je op kan abonneren. Als je je abonneert, krijg je elke maand 2 nagellakjes toegestuurd. Voordat Meeki de nagellakjes naar je opstuurt, zullen ze je enkele outfits laten zien waarvan jij je favorieten moet kiezen, zodat ze kunnen zien waar je van houdt. Wanneer ze bij Meeki weten welke stijl jij het leukst vindt, kiezen zij 2 kleuren die het meest bij jouw stijl passen. Ik heb een burgundy en een champagne kleur nagellak ontvangen. De kleuren vind ik prachtig! En ook het concept van Meeki vind ik leuk!
  

The quality of the nailpolish is better than I expected. It's very shiny and one layer is enough. This nailpolish does take longer to dry. The applicator is bigger than I'm used to, but I like it! Today I tested how long the nailpolish stays on my nails. It stays beautiful all day! I even did the dishes and the nailpolish looks fine, especially the champagne colored one. I think the burgundy one is fading faster!

De kwaliteit van de nagellakjes is beter dan ik dacht. De nagellak is lekker glanzend en één laag is voldoende. Het duurt in vergelijking met andere nagellak wel langer voordat de nagellak droogt. De applicator is breder dan ik gewend ben, maar dit bevalt me wel! 
Vandaag heb ik getest hoelang de nagellak mooi blijft. De nagellak blijft gewoon mooi zitten de hele dag. Ik heb zelfs de afwas gedaan en de nagellak zit er nog mooi op. De champagne gekleurde nagellak blijft wel iets beter zitten dan de burgundy gekleurde.

DRESSIN REVIEW: STRIPED ASSYMETRICAL SKIRT & GREEN SEQUIN JUMPSUIT

Hi guys! I'm back after my big break of not-blogging. I passed my last exam and I achieved to get my bachelor diploma! I'm now in my last year of studying at the university. But now, back to blogging! I'm back,  more inspired than ever. I guess it is because of the changing of the season. I really need to go shopping! 

 A while ago, I received my chosen items from the webshop www.dressin.com The first thing I got is this striped assymetrical skirt. You can find it here: CLICK. I really like it! It is very tight on me, but that's because I didn't look at the size chart. If you look at the size chart before you order you'll be fine!

The second item I choose is a green sequin jumpsuit. You can find it here: CLICK. I'm not that happy with it though. In the picture on the website of the web shop the color was more beautiful. In real life it is a ugly christmastree kind of green! I will not be wearing this, but for this review I made a picture while wearing it:

NEW IN: 3 PAIRS OF SHOES

Suede boots - Primark, Valentino look-a-like heels - AliExpress, Lace up heels - Primark

The last 6 months I didn't buy any shoes, which is so unlikely for a shoe-a-holic like me! I just did not like the styles that were sold. And then that moment comes when the stores fill up with pretty things you actually need to have! So, after 6 months of not buying any pair of shoes, I now bought 3, and as we speak there is another pair on his way to me. 
The pink Valentino look-a-likes are gorgeous. Too bad, they are a bit too big. I bought them in a size larger than my own size, but I'm still able to wear them. I only paid something like $14,- for them (they were on sale). 
The black boots I've worn already. They are from Primark and perfect to wear every season. They were €11,-. 
I'm in love with the beige lace up heels. I wanted beige heels for a very long time, so when I saw these beauty's at Primark for €20,-, they had to become mine! 

Now I'm curious, how many pairs of shoes do you buy in a period of (let me say) 3 months? Let me know! xx

Het laatste half jaar heb ik helemaal geen schoenen gekocht. Dat is helemaal niets voor mij, aangezien ik echt gek ben op schoenen! Ik kon gewoon geen leuke vinden. En dan komt uiteindelijk het moment waarop de winkels zich vullen met exemplaren die je gewoon moet hebben! Na een half jaar, waarin ik geen enkel paar schoenen heb gekocht (oke, 2 paar, maar die heb ik allebei teruggebracht, dus die tellen niet!! ;-)), heb ik nu 3 paar schoenen gekocht en op dit moment is er nog 1 paar onderweg! 
De roze Valentino look-a-likes zijn gewoon prachtig. Jammer genoeg zijn ze iets te groot, aangezien ik ze in een maat groter dan mijn eigen maat had besteld (via AliExpress), maar ik kan ze gelukkig nog steeds gewoon dragen. Ik heb voor de Valentino look-a-likes iets van $14,- betaald (ze waren in de aanbieding toen ik ze kocht). 
De zwarte laarsjes heb ik al een aantal keer gedragen. Ze zijn van de Primark en zijn draagbaar in elk seizoen van het jaar! Ze waren €11,-. 
Dan als laatste: de beige lace up heels! Ik wilde al een tijdje een paar beige heels en toen ik dit paar zag staan bij de Primark voor €20,- nam ik ze dan ook mee! 

Nu ben ik nieuwsgierig: hoeveel paren schoenen koop jij ongeveer in 3 maanden tijd? Laat het me weten! xx

Ik heb een mailtje gekregen van de webshop www.dressin.com met de vraag of ik een samenwerking met hen wil doen. Ik heb een kijkje genomen in de webshop en ze verkopen erg leuke jurkjes en jumpsuits. De kleding is goedkoop en de verzendkosten zijn ook niet super duur, zoals dit vaak het geval is bij dit soort sites. De tas kan op verschillende manieren worden gedragen: zoals je op de bovenste foto kunt zien, zoals je op de foto onder deze tekst ziet, met alleen de hendels of met het leren langere koord dat je aan de tas kunt bevestigen door middel van clips. Ik heb maar €14,99 voor deze tas betaald. En je zult nooit geloven waar ik hem heb gekocht! Bij KRUIDVAT! Dus hierbij een tip voor als je nog zo'n tas zoekt: ren naar de dichtstbijzijnde Kruidvat en kijk tussen de tassen. Misschien hangt er nog eentje tussen, zoals dit bij mij het geval was.

EBAY WEDNESDAY: LITTLE BLACK DRESS WITH A CROSSED NECKLINE

SIZE
I got the dress in a size M and it fits like a S/M. I normally wear a size S in dresses, but the dress actually fits me well! I could have bought a size S though.


MATERIAL
The advertisement says the material of the dress is chiffon. It's not the chiffon-fabric they use for blouses. Luckily, because than you could see through the whole dress! The dress isn't see through. Allthough, it is possible that it's see through when in sunlight.


QUALITY
When the dress came in the mail, there were a few loose ends (as you can see in the first picture) I had to cut off. The fabric however is beautiful and flowy and in the back there is a little zipper. In the pictures I'm wearing the dress without a bra. I do recommend something like nipple stickers or a adhesive bra, because it could be see through in sunlight. You also have to check once in a while if the dress is still in place ;-).

MAAT
Ik heb de jurk in een maat M besteld en zo valt hij ook ongeveer, denk meer als een S/M. Zelf heb ik een maat S in jurkjes. De jurk bij mij gewoon goed. Ik had wel een S kunnen bestellen.

MATERIAAL
In de advertentie staat dat het materiaal van de jurk chiffon is. Het is echter niet het soort chiffon-stof waar blouses van gemaakt zijn. Gelukkig maar, anders zou de jurk wel erg doorschijnen! De jurk is niet te doorzichtig. Echter kan hij in het zonlicht een beetje doorschijnen.
 

KWALITEIT
Toen ik de jurk binnen kreeg, zaten er een hoop draadjes aan (zoals je kunt zien op de eerste foto). Deze kun je gelukkig makkelijk wegknippen. De stof is mooi en achterin zit een ritsje. Op de foto's heb ik de jurk aan zonder bh eronder. Ik raad echter aan toch tepelstickers of een plakbh eronder aan te doen, aangezien hij in het licht een beetje door kan schijnen! Voor de rest gewoon in de gaten houden dat de jurk niet verschuift ;-).

THE PERFECT BIRTHDAY GIFT FOR MY SISTER

On the 28th of March my sister turned 18! For her birthday I wanted to give her something fun this time. She always had a big eyeshadow palette with like 120 different colors in it. This big thing has fallen like 3 times and all the eyeshadows are broken. Also she is going on holiday this summer and she can't take the big palette, so I was searching for a little palette with the colors she uses the most. The Naked 2 palette is just perfect! I love the colors and I think I will get it for myself too! What would you buy for your sister's 18th Birthday? xx

Op 28 maart was het mijn zusje haar verjaardag en zij werd 18! Voor haar verjaardag was ik op zoek naar het perfecte cadeau. Ze gebruikte normaal gesproken altijd een groot ogenschaduw palette met 120 kleurtjes erin. Dit grote ding is geloof ik al 3 keer gevallen en van de oogschaduw is haast niks over. Aangezien mijn zusje op vakantie gaat deze zomer en ze het grote palette niet mee kan nemen, ben ik op zoek gegaan naar een kleiner palette met de kleuren die ze het meeste gebruikt. EBAY WEDNESDAY: ASSYMETRICAL BLACK AND WHITE DRESS

First of all, I'm sorry for the dirty mirror! In this Ebay Wednesday I will review this assymetrical black and white dress. I bought mine here: CLICK for only $7,67. 

SIZE
I bought this dress in a size M. Normally I'm wearing a size S/M in dresses. It fits me perfectly, so it runs smaller than a M. More like a S/M ;-). I do think the dress is a bit too short. I'm 1.68 m tall and this dress covers my butt just yet. 

MATERIAL
The dress is made from polyester and cotton blend (says the advertisement). I heard the white version of this dress is see-through, but this one isn't. I think the quality is good for the price you pay.

Ten eerste, sorry voor de vieze spiegel! In deze Ebay Woensdag zal ik dit assymetrische zwart-witte jurkje reviewen. Het jurkje heb ik hier gekocht: CLICK. De prijs die ik ervoor neerlegde was maar $7,67.

MAAT
Ik heb deze jurk in een maat M gekocht. Normaal gesproken draag ik maat S/M met jurkjes. Het jurkje past me perfect, dus dat betekent dat hij kleiner valt dan een maat M. Hij valt meer als een S/M ;-). Ik vind wel dat het jurkje een beetje te kort is. Ik ben 1.68 m lang en dit jurkje bedekt mijn kont maar net.

MATERIAAL
De jurk is gemaakt van Polyester en Cotton blend (volgt uit de advertentie). Ik heb ergens gelezen dat de witte versie van deze jurk doorzichtig is. Deze is dat niet. Ik vind dat de kwaliteit goed is voor de prijs die je ervoor betaald.

TIP: TRENCHCOAT FROM LIDL

This morning I went to the supermarket to buy myself a trenchcoat. Yes, you heard it right! I bought a trenchcoat at the supermarket, or more precisely the Lidl. So if you are on the search for a trenchcoat for cheap, and is there a Lidl in your country, go there! The price of the trenchcoat is only €19,99. What do you think? xx

Vanochtend ging ik naar de supermarkt en heb ik een trenchcoat gekocht. Ja, je hoort het goed! Ik heb een trenchcoat gekocht bij de supermarkt, bij de Lidl om precies te zijn. Ben je nog op zoek naar een trenchcoat en wil je niet te veel betalen, ren dan naar de Lidl! Ze liggen vanaf vandaag in de winkel! De trenchcoat kost €19,99 en je hebt ze in het rood, blauw en beige. I just love to browse through Ebay on the search for low priced bargains. I never buy blouses in the stores, which is very stupid, because you can wear blouses to anything! That's why this Ebay Wednesday is all about blouses in different colors and different styles. The title of this blogpost says that all the blouses are under $10, and there I cheated a little bit ;-). Ik hou ervan om lekker op Ebay rond te kijken op zoek naar goedkope items. Ik koop nooit bloesjes in de winkels, wat eigenlijk erg stom is, aangezien je dit kledingstuk altijd kan dragen! Daarom staat deze Ebay Wednesday in het teken van bloesjes in allerlei soorten en kleurtjes. De titel van deze blogpost zegt dat alle bloesjes onder de $10 zijn, en daar heb ik een beetje vals gespeeld ;-). Nummer 2 is namelijk $10,05. Nou ja. Ik hoop dat je deze post leuk vindt. Begin februari ben ik naar de Primark geweest in Zaandam om de laatste spulletjes te halen voordat ik op vakantie ging naar Thailand. Ik ben erg blij met het brazilian bikini broekje en de tas. Ik weet dat het alweer een maand geleden is, maar ik dacht dat het misschien nog steeds wel leuk was om te laten zien.

If you are thinking about buying this jumpsuit, I just got one advice for you: BUY IT! It's perfect for holidays. Everytime I didn't know what to wear in Thailand, I grabbed this jumpsuit and I was ready to go. This jumpsuit is on my list of best Ebay buys; enough said ;-)!

SIZE
Normally I'm wearing a size S or M. This jumpsuit I ordered in a size M and it fits me perfectly. A size S would be too small for me. As the jumpsuit arrived I couldn't get the zipper at his lowest point. Because of that I couldn't fit in. Luckily the zipper problem is solved as I used the zipper more.

MATERIAL
The jumpsuit is made from Polyester and is dubble lined. The quality is very good.

Als je aan het twijfelen bent om deze jumpsuit te bestellen, kan ik je een advies geven: KOOP HEM! De jumpsuit is perfect voor vakanties. Elke keer als ik in Thailand niet wist wat ik moest dragen, greep ik naar de jumpsuit en was ik klaar om te gaan. Dit is zeker een van mijn beste aankopen van Ebay. Dat zegt genoeg ;-)!

MAAT
Normaal gesproken draag ik een maat S of M. Deze jumpsuit heb ik gekocht in een maat M en hij past perfect. Een maat S zou voor mij te klein geweest zijn. Toen de jumpsuit aankwam kreeg ik de rits niet op zijn laagste punt, waardoor ik er niet in kon komen. Gelukkig is het rits-probleem opgelost. Ik moest de rits gewoon nog even wat soepeler maken.

MATERIAAL
De jumpsuit is gemaakt van Polyester en is dubbel gevoerd. De kwaliteit is erg goed.

EBAY WEDNESDAY: TRAVALO

If everything has been going according to plan, I'm in Thailand now. That's why I choose something that will come in handy when you are travelling somewhere for this Ebay Wednesday. You don't want to carry your whole parfum-bottle, because of the weight and space it takes, but also because of the chance the bottle will break in your suitcase. A Travalo is a little bottle with a little hole on the bottom. You can put your favourite parfum in it and take it anywhere. I bought mine from Ebay here: CLICK! I'm happy with it. You can put 5ml in it. The only downside is that if you're not using it for a while, the parfum will dissolve.

Als alles gegaan is zoals het zou moeten gaan, zit ik op dit moment in Thailand. Dat is ook de reden waarom ik voor deze 'Ebay Wednesday' heb gekozen voor iets wat handig is als je gaat reizen. Je wilt niet een hele parfum fles meesjouwen, wanneer je op reis gaat. Niet omdat het gewicht en plek inneemt in je koffer, maar ook niet omdat de kans er is dat de fles stuk gaat in je koffer. Een Travalo is een klein flesje met een gaatje aan de onderkant. Je kan via dit gaatje je favoriete parfum in het flesje doen en het meenemen naar waar je maar wilt. In het flesje kan 5ml. Het enige nadeel vind ik dat als je het flesje een tijdje niet gebruikt, het parfum zal oplossen.

Ik laat jullie zien hoe het werkt:

1. Get your Travalo,
2. Choose the parfum you want to put in the Travalo (mine is already filled with the parfum Gucci, that's why I'm using a parfum bottle from my BF (Police), just because I like the bottle ;-)),
3. Take the lid from your parfum bottle,
4. Put the hole in the bottom of your Travalo on the parfum bottle and pump! Through the transparent part of the Travalo you can see when it is full.

1. Pak je Travalo erbij, 
2. Kies het parfum dat je in de Travalo wilt hebben (in mijn Travalo zit al parfum (Gucci), vandaar dat ik een parfumflesje van mijn vriend gebruik (Police), omdat ik die zo mooi vind ;-)), 
3. Neem de dop van je parfumfles, 
4. Zet het gaatje van de Travalo op het flesje en pompen maar. Door het doorzichtige gedeelte van de Travalo kun je zien wanneer hij vol zit.
